Madeline J. Keeshan, 90, Topeka, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018.

Madeline was born November 19, 1927 in Corning, the daughter of Ernest and Jennie (Ewing) Farley.

She graduated from Corning High School.

She was a bookkeeper at Topeka Tent & Awning and Phil’s Auto Care.

Madeline was an avid Bridge player and a devoted wife and mother.

Madeline married Philip Keeshan on January 17, 1948 in Topeka. Her husband of 70 years survives. Other survivors include daughters, Cindy Keeshan and Chris Keeshan, both of Topeka. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Keeshan; and 2 brothers; and 1 sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel. Private burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel from 10:15 a.m. until service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
