A.J. was born January 9, 1990 in Topeka, the son of Darren and Gloria (Lopez) Forshee. He graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 2008.
He was employed as a Service technician with Edelman-Lyon Company.
He was a member of Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene, and the Shawnee Lake Boat & Ski Club.
He enjoyed playing multiple instruments, including the guitar, drums and piano; creating and recording music with his band buddies. His passion was water skiing and loved snowboarding in the Colorado mountains.
Survivors include his parents; sister, Jessie (Joey) Forshee-Bowen, Tecumseh; grandparents, Charles & Margaret Lopez, Topeka; nephew, Taeton; niece, Jaycie; 60 some cousins; numerous aunts and uncles; many friends too numerous to count; and his beloved dog, Rusty Renee. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, T.J. and Bonnie Forshee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
A.J. lives on with his donated organs to the Midwest Transplant Network.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society or Midwest Transplant Network.
