Leslie D. Collyge, 57, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Midland Hospice House.

She was born February 26, 1961, in Gainesville, FL, the daughter of Joe and Deloris (Smith) Collyge. She attended Topeka High School.

She spent her life caring for others and worked as a C.N.A. at various health care locations in Topeka.

She loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending her time at the lake, painting ceramics, crocheting, listening and dancing to music.

Leslie was married to Allan Brown for 20 years, they later divorced. Survivors include children, Crystal (Jonny) Madrid, Tony (Angel) Brown, Michael (Casey) Brown; step-daughter, Melanie Witt: 10 grandchildren; and siblings, Butch (Crystal) Collyge, Susan Smith, Elaine (Ismael) Reyes, Erica Collyge and Loretta Collyge. She was preceded in death by her father; and siblings, Ginnie Collyge, Eve Collyge-Cannon, Sherry Collyge and JoAnn Scholler.

Honoring Leslie’s request, cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association. Thank you so much.
