Harry L. McClure, 90, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born December 23, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Earnest W. and Josephine (Miller) McClure.

Harry graduated from Lucas High School in 1946 and graduated from Wichita Business College in 1948. He worked at various accounting jobs in Lyons, Hutchinson, Wichita and Topeka. He became a licensed CPA in 1962. Harry attended night classes in Wichita at various colleges in the area before moving to Topeka in 1972. He graduated from Washburn University where he earned a BS Degree. He started his own CPA firm in Lawrence in 1974. Harry earned a MBA from Avilla College in 1976. He retired in 2014.

Harry married Virginia L. Hill on April 6, 1957 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Karen (Ray) Warner of Dallas, Texas, Jeff (Missy) McClure of Overland Park, Kansas, Sharon (JR) Covert of Topeka and Sara McClure of Topeka, nine grandchildren, Richard (Jamie), Kacy, Kyle (Ashley), Luke, Joseph, Adam, Emma, Izzy and Ella and five great-grandchildren, Kasey, Paisley, Rowan, Presley and Avery.

Harry was preceded in death by one son, Mark McClure on September 22, 1968 and two brothers, Henry (Ethel) and LeRoy (Mae).

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 SW Burlingame Rd. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Graveside committal services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Washington Creek Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
