Beverly Arlene (Wedeking) Boucher, 80, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018.

She was born June 11, 1938, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of William and Adeline (Ziebolz) Wedeking. She was a graduate of Hayden High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Washburn University.

Beverly was employed by KNI and later taught at Christ the King Catholic Church School.

She was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church, of Topeka where she served as Eucharistic minister and provided Communion to various local nursing homes.

Beverly married Eldon Edward Boucher on August 6, 1960 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2011. Survivors include three sons, Brett (Susan) Boucher of Allen, KS, Dean (Jeanette) Boucher and Kirk Boucher both of Topeka; six grandchildren Nathan Martin, Taylor Boucher, Jonathan Hardten, Tanner Boucher, Cheyann Boucher and Zachary Boucher; 3 great-grandkids; and 11 siblings, Sister Mary Adeline, Wheat Ridge, CO, Nancy Turner, Hawthorne, CA, Joanne Murdock, Dickson, CA, Clarissa Nelson, Enumclaw, WA, James Wedeking, Lenexa, KS, William “Billy” Wedeking, Topeka, Leroy Wedeking, Topeka, Father Patrick Wedeking, Jamestown, NM, Anthony “Tony” Wedeking, Topeka, Stephen “Steve” Wedeking, Topeka and Darrel Wedeking, Topeka; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Molly McClellan; twin sister and brother, Diana and Danny Wedeking; and a brother, Thomas Wedeking.

Beverly was dedicated to her faith. She enjoyed spending time with family, scrap booking, puzzles, family genealogy and daily walks in the park with her canine companion, Brownie.

Honoring Beverly's request, cremation is planned. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th Street, Topeka, where a Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Topeka. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, is assisting the family.
