Carl R. Hahn, Jr., 67, of Auburn, Kansas passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born August 24, 1950 to Carl, Sr. and Lida Hahn. He was raised by his mother and step-father, William Patterson. He graduated from high school in California and joined the US Navy where he served for four years as a chef. He worked at Fleming Foods for 16 years and retired from the Kansas Turnpike Authority in 2015, after 21 years.

Carl was a Friend of Bill W. for over 30 years.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 17 1/2 years, Donna J. Hahn; his children: son, Christopher Hahn, daughter, Carrie Hahn, daughter, Robbin Lister (Duane), son, Rodney L. Potter, and daughter, Renae Walters (Eric); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Patrick M. Patterson, one sister, Tonda M. Lewis; and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Auburn AA Group, P.O. Box 72, Auburn, KS 66402.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Auburn Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27. 2018.
