Mary Jo Hoke, 62 of Topeka, Kansas passed away Monday July 2, 2018 at her home.
She was born March 17, 1956 in Kirkville, Missouri, daughter of Joseph A Meyer and Betsy M (Michaels) Meyer.
She received her GED from Lawrence High School in 1993. She went back to school in 2011 and 2012 to get her CNA and Home Health Aide certification.
Mary was married to Jon Hoke from 1984 to 1990 and they had one daughter, Whitney Hoke of Topeka, KS. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends and reading.
A celebration of her life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her best friend’s home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Stormont Vail’s Palliative Care or Midland Hospice Care.
