Livia E."Lilly" Perlaky, 72, of Topeka, passed away July 19, 2018. Lilly was born on April 28, 1946 in Budapest, Hungary, to Charles L and Livia J. (Pausz) Perlaky. The Perlaky family fled Hungary in November of 1956 following the Hungarian Revolution. The Perlakys immigrated to the United States in 1957 under the sponsorship of Trinity Lutheran Church of Topeka.

Lilly became a citizen of the United States in 1965. She attended Topeka Schools and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1968, majoring in History. Lilly worked at both Watkins Library in Lawrence and the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library. Lilly enjoyed history, literature and classical music. She was a talented artist and tennis player. Lilly was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30PM on August 1, 2018 in the Abbey Chapel at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Topeka, Kansas.
