Guy A. Liberty, 55, of Topeka, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was born March 17, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Pastor Roderick K. and Shirley A. (Walker) Liberty.

Guy graduated from Kinsley High School in 1981 at Kinsley, Kansas. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science from Grand Canyon University in 2016 and was working towards a Master’s Degree in Human Resources. Guy was a career Army Veteran, serving in both Desert Storm and Desert Shield before retiring after 20 years of service. He was a member of Topeka First Assembly of God Church, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Post No. 421 of the American Legion.

Guy married Cheryl Ratcliff on February 14, 2009 in Iola, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Nathan Liberty, Keith (Jaime) Liberty, Don “DJ” Liberty, Jeremy Ratcliff, Amy McIntire, Jessie McIntire, Airica Liberty. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Hannah Liberty, Allazay Ratcliff, two grandsons, Joseph McIntire and Cylas Ratcliff, his mother, Shirley A. Liberty and his siblings, Elveanna Crabtree, Sheldon Liberty, Tim Liberty and many Aunts, Uncles and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Topeka First Assembly of God Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Graveside committal services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Andover Cemetery, Andover, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
