Michael D. Hamilton, age 66, son of John and Pearl Hamilton, passed away on September 10, 2018. He is survived by his sons, Jon and Sean Hamilton; one grandson, Wesley Hamilton; his mother, Pearl and 8 siblings. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hamilton and his brother, David Hamilton.
Michael graduated from Topeka High School in 1970. He attended KU and Washburn. He served in the US Navy. He married Priscilla and they later divorced. He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a distribution clerk. Michael also worked for the Colmery O'Neil VAMC in the mail room for 30 years. He loved to read, walk and meditate. Years ago, he played guitar as part of a band and enjoyed drawing.
Per Michael's wishes, there will be no memorial services. His cremated remains will be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery.
