Marilyn was a classmate all through school. I remember her and the sparkle in her eyes and the fierce competitive look she could get. There really wasn't anything she couldn't do when she set her mind to it. She had a lot of school spirit and would bring her horse to the football games and be the Charger for the school and the team. She will be missed by many. My condolences to the family.

I’m sending condolences to the Diehl family. Marilyn worked for me @ BNSF in the Roadway Equipment section of the railroad she was a great worker & we had some great & fun times working together. She was smart & worked hard not only for me but when she was a Sectional Storkeeper as well. She loved to play softball & always talked about her horses. Whatever illness she had no more suffering & can Rest In Peace. ????God Bless you Marilyn, Mary Lou Escobar.

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Marilyn. She was so athletic, and I especially admired her shortstop skills while we were teenagers on the Alma Chicks summer softball team. She was always kind and quick to give me encouragement. I saw her last at a garden show where she told me about her garden and learning to can pickles, on the farm where she grew up.

What a beautiful picture of Marilyn. She was a great athlete in high school and always welcomed you with a friendly smile. May you rest in peace. Marilyn.

Many, many years ago, one treasured memory is the outing with Marilyn & Linda, when she eagerly helped me ride the big horse in Alma. I will miss her and her big beautiful smile. I was blessed to have had such a sweet angel touch my life.
