Lyman "Dale" Bonnett, 86, of Berryton, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. He was born February 22, 1932 in Smith Center, Kansas, the son of Marvin and Hilda (Stoner) Bonnett.

Dale graduated from Smith Center High School and attended Kansas State University. He was a Navy Veteran, serving 2 tours of active duty during the Korean War. He resided in the Topeka and Berryton communities since 1958. Dale was employed by DuPont for 34 years before retiring. He was also a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Dale married Margaret Katherine Mayes on February 1, 1957 in Beloit, Kansas. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Doyle Bonnett, and sister, Dorothy (Bonnett) Palmer.

Survivors include their children, Monte Dale Bonnett of Topeka, Terry Allen Bonnett, daughter in-law, Ye Feng Bonnett and their children, Nicholas Monte and Annie Katherine Bonnett of Fishers, Indiana, daughter, Stephanie Lynn Bonnett of Kansas City, Missouri, sister, Bernetta (Bonnett) Bose, and a host of nieces and nephews throughout the Midwest.
