Howard Earl Rolfe, 88, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
He was born May 8, 1930, in Wetmore, Kansas, the son of Thomas William and Velma Olive (McGinnis) Rolfe. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School and attended Washburn Business School. He served aboard the USS Brown in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Howard owned and operated the Gold Specialties Printing, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of the VFW and the USS Brown Association.
Howard married Norma McGinnis on November 13, 1971. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2010. Survivors include his daughters: Brenda Rolfe of Springfield, MA and Hillary Rolfe of Topeka; two grandchildren: Christina and Matthew; three great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Lucy Rolfe, Doris Rolfe and Oliver Rolfe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Paul Rolfe and his sister Mary Disney.
Howard enjoyed boating, water skiing, hunting and camping. He loved to share his chair with his pets Kaylee and Mickey.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at VFW Philip Billard Post 1650, 3110 SW Huntoon St. Topeka, Kansas 66604
