Tre'Veaughn Emanuel Eugene “Tre”Rice-McFarland, 15, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Tre'Veaughn was born June 6, 2003 in Topeka, the son of Ceaira Rice and Willie McFarland.


He was a sophomore at Topeka High School.

Survivors include his mother, Ceaira Davis and husband, Dayna Davis; father, Willie McFarland; siblings, Sha’harah Rice, Paris Rice, Keisean Rice, Milay Cruz, Rai'Zauna Tibbits-McFarland, Wyking Griffin, Da'niyah McFarland, Malik McFarland, La'Keisha McFarland, Malachi Lewis; grandparents, Sara Rice and Alfred Guesby, Jr., Terry Hurt, George McFarland; great-grandparent, Artie Tunley; aunt, Jas'nae Rice, La'Tasha Bradley; uncles, Keith Steele III, Anthony Ivy, La'Shawn McFarland, George McFarland, Jr.; his god brother Datariaughn Steele; his best friends, Antonio Clark, Alajuan Brown, Eric Henderson, Dajuan William, Megalle Wall, Richard Morris, Jr., Leo Martinez, Randell Carrier,
and Marco Martinez; and a host of cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eugene Rice, Sr., Ruth & Joe Ivy, and Oris F. Tunley, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 SE Washington. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Dove Southwest Chapel is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dove Southwest Chapel.
