Cassie Jean Crain, 58, of Perry, Kansas was called Home to be with our Lord on Friday, April 19, 2019 with her husband Ryan and mother-in-law, Kay Sheaffer standing by her side.

Cassie was born on December 16, 1960 in Abilene, Kansas to Leo Franklin Cameron and Dorothy Darlene (Knight) Cameron.

Cassie was a lover of all animals. She leaves behind her beloved Pomeranian, Munchkin. Cassie worked for USD 345 Seaman School District as a school bus driver. She previously worked for Wal-Mart #378 in Holton, Kansas.

Cassie is survived by her husband; Ryan Crain of the home, three children; Jason Cott, Sr. of Ellsworth, Thomas (Ashley) Cott of Soldier, Kansas and Tejay Cott of Aurora, Colorado, nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, her siblings; Harold Harrison of Grand Junction, Colorado, LeeAnn (Mike) Bowen of New Orleans, Louisiana, Neil Harrison, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Paula (Joey) Reidelberger of Salina, Kansas, many nieces and nephews and many children who called her mom. Also surviving is her mother-in-law; Kay Sheaffer and her grandmother by marriage; Shirley Sheaffer both of Perry.

Cassie previously married Frank Cott, Jr. They later divorced. She later married Paul Mason and they later divorced.

Cassie was preceded in death by her mother; Dorothy, her father; Leo and her brother; John Cameron.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Cassie’s Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Jefferson County Home Health and Hospice, 1212 Walnut St., Oskaloosa, Kansas 66066 or to an animal shelter or rescue of your choice.
