Larry graduated from Independence High School in 1959. He had resided in Topeka since 1988. Larry was employed as a carpenter for Fisher's Fixtures. He was a member of Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.
Larry married Karla J. Clark on June 5, 1959 in Bolton, Kansas. She preceded him in death on February 23, 2012. He's also preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Wilson and Wilbur Lesslie.
Survivors include their children, Timothy A. (Rachel) Lesslie, Pamela J. (Tom) Luthi, Curtis D. (Julie) Lesslie, Tammy E. (Richard) Yurco, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his siblings, Charlotte (Richard) Winebrenner, Linda Deyoe, Michael (Sharon) Lesslie and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private interment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to JDRF, Kansas City Chapter, 215 W Pershing Rd., #300, Kansas City, MO, 64108.
