Pat was born December 26, 1947, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Marion Thomas, Sr. and Dixie Marie (Magers) Coffee.
She attended Seaman High School. Pat worked an array of jobs. She worked at the China Inn in Topeka for over 20 years and most recently at The Den Club in Topeka prior to its closing.
She married M. Paul Foster on December 31, 1989 in Topeka, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband, M. Paul Foster of the home; a daughter, Michelle (Homer Bennett II) Thrasher of Topeka; three step-children, Sonya (Mark) Cefalu of Milwaukee, WI, Bobby (Shelly Castello) Foster of Baldwin City, KS, Warren Troy (Tammi) Foster of McClouth, KS; five grandchildren, Ethan Hartenberger, Samantha Koeller, Daniella Bratcher, Kristina Foster and Kaitlyn Foster; a great-granddaughter, Chloe; a brother, Michael Coffee of Topeka, KS; and her K-9 companion, Jessie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Marion Coffee, Jr.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Ethan, watching NASCAR races, camping, cooking and sewing.
She was a dedicated and selfless person who put her family first.
Honoring Pat’s request, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. The family requests casual attire for those attending.
