Delbert L. Bahner, Sr., 80, of Topeka, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020.

He was born February 10, 1939, in Belvue, Kansas, the son of Raymond and Lydia Bahner.

Delbert was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and later became self-employed in Sacramento, California. Delbert relocated back to Topeka in 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Tamela (Keith) Karlan, of Topeka, KS; two sons, Delbert (Denise) Bahner, Jr. of, Scranton, KS and Jere Bahner of Lone Jack, MO; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; his brothers, Ken (Jan) Bahner of Oak Island, NC, Joey (Becky) Bahner of Topeka, KS, Bob (Eileen) Bahner of Overland Park, KS and Tom (Kathy) Bahner of Rossville, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jodi; his brothers, Don, Glen, Darrell and Larry.

Delbert enjoyed spending time fishing, boating and spending time with his brothers.

Honoring Delbert’s request, cremation is planned. No services are planned at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.
