I was sorry to read of Bob’a passing, and send prayers to his family. I enjoyed working with him, and appreciated his loyalty to my family. I was amazed that he could pick up a sofa by himself. I like the picture of a young Bob. Rest In Peace, Bob.

I sold furniture at Marling's during the 70s and had the pleasure of getting to know Bob. He was such a nice, fun man. I enjoyed every second we shared, joking and visiting. A fine man who will be missed by many.

My prayers and thoughts are with Del and the Family and Friends of Mr. Robert Leon Taylor, Sr. I did not know Mr. Taylor but working with Dell, I felt I had a connection with him through our daily conversations. I know he will be truly missed but I also know he is in GOD's hands. No more pain or worries. GOD will give us what we need, when we need it. I pray Faith, Strength, and Inner Peace rain upon you through the HOLY SPIRIT during and after Mr. Taylor's transition to our SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

I hurt for you at this difficult time. Dad's hold a special place in the hearts of their daughters and sons. And will continue to. I wish you comfort and peace that the Lord can provide.

Robert Taylor is my Uncle. To me he was Uncle Bobby. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the summers we returned to Topeka to visit family and especially my cousins. Thanks to him and my other family members I had plenty cousins to enjoy. I still can see that smile and hear that laugh after he would tease me, my sister or one of cousins about something.
He was a man that tackled life and he could be tough on family. He had boundless energy for work and fun. Sometimes that energy could cause him to make some questionable life decisions. However, he worked hard to make a living to take care of his large family. He was the youngest of many brothers and sisters so he had to learn to hold his own with them and the demands of life. I was fortunate to have had some very wonderful private moments with him that I will cherish. I got to learn a bit about what it takes to be a man from my interaction with him. I admire him. He made the most of the little opportunities that came his way.
The last time I saw him is when I brought my family back to Topeka. I was now a grown man but he greeted his nephew just like he did when I was that boy all those summers ago. He grabbed me, lifted me up and just laughed as he hugged me. I honor his memory for all he overcame, the love he gave me and the joy he gave my family.
