My deepest condolences to Bruce's family and friends and also my gratitude for sharing this delightful man with all of us at Uncle Bo's. He so enjoyed the music and loved to dance - I especially remember what a great time we all had the first time that Trampled Under Foot played Bo's after they won the 2008 International Blues Challenge. I remember that he would sometimes bring BBQ for the blues artists to enjoy. It was always a good day if Bruce was a part of it.

Dear Patty and Family,
My family and I send our sincere condolences to you all. We met Bruce (and Patty) through my sister, Cindy Reece Arnold, many years ago. They were God's gift on Earth to her in friendship, love, and care through her struggles in life until her last days, losing her battle with cancer. Bruce didn't know a stranger as his heartfelt kindness reached out to our family during that time in particular. I can imagine Cindy welcoming her kind friend, Bruce, with open arms and many jokes. We are forever grateful to Bruce and Patty for their loving care of our sister and the comfort given to all of us. What a tremendous soul and giving spirit to bless so many in life. Patty - you are in my prayers. God Bless.

To know my Dad was to know Love.He shared his Love and light with all of you gracefully and willingly. But to know and see the way he cared for Pat was like hearing a beautiful song by the redbird in front of his window .To see Pat take care of my Dad the past couple of years is my greatest treasure. She did everything she possibly could for him and still wanted to do more. I have learned so much from them and all of you about Love. The thing I learned most from my Dad is what it means and feels like to say “It’s good to be seen!”I plan to borrow that until my last breath

I met Big Bruce when I started work at Topeka Harley Davidson. He was a very kind and giving individual. The fondest memories I have of him are when I was having problems in my life and He turned me on to The Blues and had me down to Uncle Bo's to listen to some Blues men I had never heard of. Believe it or not Big Bruce it helped me a lot, it gave me the strength I needed to keep moving forward and make the changes in my life that I desperately needed. Thank you for that Brother! Some day we will ride again that I know!
My Condolences to the Family of Big Bruce and the millions of Friends He made over the years.

Patty, Tom and I are so very sorry to hear about Bruce. He was such a character. Don't think he had a bad bone in him (except his knees). He was a great person. We are so sorry that we had not kept in touch better. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. I hope his celebration of life is a grand parting of his soul.
