Norma E. (Hamel) Bieker, 94, of Rossville, KS passed away Friday, March 6, 2020.

She was born February 6, 1926, in Palco, KS, the daughter of Toby and Emma (Plante) Hamel. She graduated from Palco High School.

Norma was employed by the State of Kansas for over twenty years.

Survivors include her children, Alice Berens of Wamego, KS, Norman (Charlotte) Bieker of Gardner, KS, Robert Bieker of Olathe, KS, James (Mary Jo) Bieker of Topeka, KS, and Wilma (Rick) Craft of Atlanta, GA; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Norma enjoyed dancing, gardening, reading and crossword puzzles. She was also a great cook and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Honoring Norma’s request, cremation is planned. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th St, Topeka, KS 66614. Interment of the cremated remains will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hays, KS. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The House of Midland Care, 120 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
