was sad to see that Gery had passed. I met him at Palmer in 1995 and I was always mesmerized by his energy and love of life. He was a wealth of knowledge and looked after us younger classmates. He had a gift and a love of the profession and will be truly missed. Gery was always positive and his smile and laughter were contagious. He was truly one of a kind.

I hope that Dr Kaufman’s wife and family will read this even at this late date!
My name is Cindy Wynne,
My daughter Shannon and I were patience of Dr Kauffman‘s.
His love and care as our chiropractor was transforming for the both of us. His spiritual encouragement and prayer over us with each visit was healing for us spiritually. We both have a deep love for Dr Kauffman and have memories that we will carry forever on this earth and into eternity when we see him again in heaven with Jesus.

Arlene, Kip & family, Shane & family,
My heart is broken. I can’t put into words how much he meant to me. My memories go back all the way back to being a small girl right up to him holding and playing with my grandkids! The one thing that comforts me is knowing that I will get to hug him again when we meet again in the glorious Kingdom of Heaven! I am truly so sad that we won’t be able to make it back for Uncle Gery’s service. Please know that Craig and I send our love and condolences to all of you! We will see you as soon as we are able to!
Love you!

Arlene,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I always enjoyed visiting with you and Gery at the Washburn basketball games. He was such a pleasant person to be around. You and I are old friends from grade school days and brother Duane always kept me updated regarding you and Gery. I know this a trying time but I hope you find comfort that the Lord took Gery into his heavenly home. I will be thinking of you in the weeks and months ahead.

Gery was always an inspiration to me. He showed that it is never to late in life to go for your dream. He started a second career by back to school to become a chiropractor. We spent many hours at his house studying for exams and just hanging together. I will always remember the times we spent together. I wish we did not loose touch as we went on to our own lives. He touched many lives.

To all family and friends of Gery: I am so sad to see this obituary. I knew Gery way back in the Jostens yearbook years. He was always a good friend and confidante. Kip, I know you don't remember me, but I remember you as a youngster! This is quite a loss for all of you. Many years of many good memories can be directly linked to Gery Kauffman, to be cherished by many. RIP dear friend. I know you are with your sweet daughter now.

I grew up with Gery at Drumm, I feel I lost a good friend and a Brother we share many found memories. The memory that Sandy and I remember most is Gery's selflessness. He always put others first.Gery was not only a gentleman and genuinely a Good person , and a sound voice of reason.Grief is the price we pay for Loving. Don't cry because Gery's life on this earth has ended, smile because it happened. Remember all that we love deeply becomes a part of us forever.
~ Ray and Sandy Blackman - May 12, 2020

Dr. Gery, you will be so missed. Most every time I go to the chiropractor out here in Springfield, VA, I wish it was you! No one could do the job you did and with such care and kindness. I miss our chats very much and your humor. You cared so deeply. My love and prayers to dear Arlene. May you be feel the peace that passes all understanding.

I first became a patient of Dr.Gery’s in 2011. That developed into a friendship as well over the last 9 years. He was not only my chiropractor but my therapist. He always said if he didn’t give me a chance to vent first, he might as well be trying to adjust a metal pole! Thank you Gery for being a good doctor, a good man and most of all a good friend.
~ Martha Thomas - May 11, 2020
My chiropractor and friend. My parents, husband and of course myself would tell those that considered adjustments the PALMER way is the right way. You taught me so much about how we line up and how we should listen to our bodies. Drink lots of WATER. ICE-ICE-ICE. You were right every time! I am thankful that our prayer time after adjustments became a precious time. We didn't make excuses or pretty up our prayers. We just prayed. I am thankful for your courage and boldness to try various treatments. You are brave. I pray that much has been learned regarding treatment because of your willingness to go there. We prayed for God's will and He chose to come quickly after hospice. We prayed for protection over Arlene. I am changed by you, Gery and will miss the warmth and enthusiasm you shared with us about Chiropractics. It will be good to see you again someday, my friend. Arlene, Kip and extended family - you are in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. His grace is sufficient. BLESSINGS.
