Shirley R. Parsons, 84, Eskridge, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her daughter, Lisa Taylor; granddaughters, Melvina, Paula, Cheyenne; grandson, Robert; and great-grandson, Hudson.
Shirley worked at St. Francis Hospital for 21 years. After she retired, she and Dale moved to Eskridge to the family farm.
Shirley married Robert Dale Parsons, Sr., on November 2, 1955 in Eskridge. He died July 17, 2005. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; and son, Steven Wayne Parsons. Survivors include daughter, Lisa Taylor; son, Robert Dale Parson, Jr.; granddaughters, Melvina, Paula, Cheyenne; grandson, Robert; and great-grandson, Hudson.
She loved to sew, do crafts, and spending time with grandchildren. She was the life of the party, always having fun.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
