Paulette Inez Jeanine “P.J.” Guenther, 27, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
She was born November 25, 1992, in Glendale, Arizona, the daughter of Jacob Robert Kaenel and Luciana “Shawna” Guenter.
P.J. was employed by an assisted living facility in Lawrence, Kansas.
Survivors include two children, Marlayh Pate and Nevaeh Guenther of Topeka; her mother, Luciana “Shawna” (Brandon) Roose of Topeka; her father , Jacob (Jennifer) Kaenel of Montello, WI; five sisters, Brandi and Erika Roose of Topeka, Hailey, Jade and Alexis (Neil) Kaenel, all of Montello, WI; and her brother, Gary Roose in Topeka.
P.J. was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Ruby Kaenel; her maternal grandmother, Daisy (Harvey) Rogers; her maternal grandfather, Ronald Guenther; and her maternal great-grandmother, Betty Ortega.
P.J. enjoyed spending time with her family, outdoor activities, dining, making people laugh and was a Kansas City Royals fan.
Cremation is planned. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
