In Memory Of
Alex Roy Massengill
1999 - 2020

Our beautiful Alex R. Massengill, 20, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Alex was born November 12, 1999 in Topeka, the son of Jennifer Hopper and Kevin Wilkinson. He attended Seaman Schools.

He played baseball, enjoyed four-wheeling, loved to travel, video games, outdoor sports, loved dogs and his grandmother’s brownies.

He and his brother owned and operated Topeka Gutter Guys. He was an extremely hard worker and loved to make “dat” money.

Alex touched the lives of all those around him in all of his endeavors. Family was so important to Alex and he could make us all happy with his infectious laughter. He adored his little brothers and looked up to his big one. Alex wanted to have a family of his own.

Survivors include his mother, Jennifer (Brian Harris) Hopper; father, Kevin (Lizzy) Wilkinson; brothers, Anthony Massengill, Sammy Hopper, Isaiah and Elijah Wilkinson; grandparents, Mary Ann Massengill, Doug Massengill, all of Topeka, and Ron Wilkinson, California; and his long term girlfriend, Jennifer Howard.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Wilkinson; and step-father, Ian Hopper.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
