Harland F. Kistler Jr. died October 17, 2020, surrounded by family. He was 77 years old.

Born in South Dakota to Harland F. Kistler Sr. and Elizabeth Kistler, Harland was the oldest of seven children. After high school, Harland enlisted in the Navy and served his country with pride, fighting in the Vietnam War. Afte, he attended and graduated from National College of Business in Rapid City with a degree in accounting that allowed him to work almost anywhere he went.

In the early 1970s, while living in Texas, he married and had two children, Art and Cindy, both of whom still live in Texas with their families.

In 1995, Harland met and married Martha Kistler. After several moves, they finally landed at their forever home in Topeka, Kansas.

Harland will be missed by the friends he made along the way and the family that loved him through his journeys.
