Yvonne Mary (Linsin) Moore, 83, of Kirkwood, Missouri, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Topeka Presbyterian Manor. Yvonne was born April 30, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Edward O. and Dorothy (Christophel) Linsin.

Yvonne was a graduate of Normandy High School, attended Lindenwood College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Central College in Fayette.

She was married March 3, 1962 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Ted J. Moore. He preceded her in death in April, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Orvie Linsin. Surviving family members include her brother Chris Linsin, her daughters Susan (James) Rix of Chicago and Nancy (George) Orum of Bella Vista and her son Roger (Scott) of Topeka. She was known lovingly as “Yvonne” by her four grandchildren Ana, Olivia, Lilly, and George Thomas.

Following Yvonne's wishes, cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment of both Yvonne's and Ted's cremains will take place at a later date in the Moore family plot in Walnut, Kansas. Yvonne's two shih tzus, Pooshki and Pepper, gave her love, comfort and joy in the latter years of her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS 66604. (hhhstopeka.org).
