Naomi S. Henderson, 86, of Topeka, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at a Topeka hospital. She was born January 24, 1934 in Topeka, the daughter of Clyde and Francis (Ware) Crith.
Naomi graduated from Topeka High School. She was employed by the Colmery-O’Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka and later for several senior care facilities in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Topeka Revival Assembly Church.
Naomi married Harold Henderson in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Survivors include daughters, Deborah Ashley of Topeka, Brenda Randle of Topeka, six grandchildren, Terry Henderson, Mekeba Stano, Kasey Reddick, Jonathan Reddick, Tia Shelby Willis, and Angel Parks, five great-grandchildren, Ashton McElroy, Trinity Stano, Chai Stano, Alexis Henderson, and Peyton Henderson, two great-great-grandchildren, Amenia Stano, and our youngest addition, Zaiden McElroy.
A Celebration of Naomi’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Topeka Revival Assembly, 1208 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66608.
