Neil Edwin Luttrell, 73, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021.
He was born July 17, 1947, in Wamego, Kansas, the son of Noel Edward and Barbara Lea (Scofield) Luttrell. He graduated from Saint Marys High School. He was attending Kansas State University when he was drafted into the Army. He served as a sergeant during Vietnam, receiving two Purple Hearts.
Neil was employed by the United States Postal Service for many years.
Survivors include his daughter, Misti (Jason) Robertson of Topeka; grandchildren Kemper and Lily Robertson of Topeka; and sister Nila Harmon of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Neil enjoyed restoring automobiles, especially antiques and Corvettes.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at the Valley View Cemetery in St. Marys. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Villa, 2075 SW Fillmore, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
