Sorry to hear about Dons passing. I knew Don when I worked in the Records Division at the old Police Station and he worked Vice. He would come in at the end of shift and turn in his reports. He always talked fondly of his family. I send my consolidations on your loss.

Don and I shared acolyte duties while under the trusty wing of Reverend Nelson at Trinity Lutheran during the late '50s and early 60s, along with our other common memories shared when we attended our Confirmation Classes together there on Saturday mornings ---and where we infrequently got away with harmless murder, or at least we thought we did, and through our adulthood I believe these moments were never willingly divulged. Our teenage escapades obviously bode Don well later in life as a undercover detective with the TPD when he was policing juvenile crimes and indiscretions. Eric Kjorlie

I'm so sorry for your loss. It didn't dawn on me until today that you owned the home at 1132. I keep thinking when I see someone outside working, I'll stop and comment that it is the very nicest looking I have ever seen that house in my 35 years in the real estate business. Gorgeous.

For a time Don and I worked together at TPD. He was a unique character that loved what he did to serve the public. My condolences to his wife Linda and family.

I worked with Don on the Police Department from 1973 to 1980. He was a great guy and a great cop. He was always keeping troops mood up at all times. He will always be missed.

I have a couple of great memories that make me laugh and smile. One great memory is Don's love for Kimchi and always having a jar in a nearby fridge. I don't know that anyone else in the department ever shared that same love! Cherish the memories. Blessings!
