Donald Ray Longren, 75, of Topeka passed away February 13, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Longren; two children, Jeffrey C. Longren and life partner, Samanth Grief; two grandchildren, Maldon Ray and Kegan Blaise Longren of California and a sister, Maren Hathaway of Winnsborro, TX.
Donald was a graduate of Topeka High School (1963) and Washburn University (1967). He served in the United States Army and entered the Topeka Police Department in 1973. He retired as a Detective Sargent.
Honoring Donald’s request cremation has taken place. A memorial ceremony and interment of Donald’s cremated remains will be planned at a later date. Dove Cremations and Funerals –Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610 is assisting the family.
