Alberta Kreipe Kelley, 85, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021.
She was born May 1, 1935, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Pauline (Price) Kreipe. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1953.
Alberta was employed by Southwestern Bell for 35 years, and retired as their senior audit clerk and a steward in the Pioneer Union for Southwestern Bell for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Central Church of Christ and the Ladies Bible Class, of Topeka.
Alberta married Herbert L Kelley on March 18, 1955 in Topeka. He survives. Survivors include her children, Bryan Kelley of Topeka, daughters Kimberly Glidewell (John) of Topeka and Susan Zechel (Randy) of Berryton; grandchildren Melissa (Bart) of Belgium, Joshua (Brandy) of Topeka and Daniel (Katelyn) of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters.
Alberta loved her church, cooking, and her pets.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 23rd at Dove Cremations and Funerals - Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Avenue in Topeka. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery in Tecumseh at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Tallgrass Christian Camp or the World Bible School.
