Shai Lorene Chantele Boyd, 26, of Topeka, passed away on May 27, 2021.
She was born on September 13, 1994 to Malcolm E. Boyd, Sr. and Victoria Fitzhugh in Topeka, Kansas.
Shai is survived by her loving children, Kendrick Searcie, Emerson Searcie and Elis Boyd; her father, Malcolm (Nancy Woellhof) Boyd, Sr.; her mother, Victoria Solis-Fitzhugh; her grandparents, Leland and Deborah Kling; her siblings, Malcolm Boyd, Jr., Adrienne Boyd, Amber Boyd, Jasmine Boyd, Makiyah Boyd, Malaki Stepp, Manessa Stepp and Robert Miller; her uncles, Bryan Fitzhugh and Shannon Boyd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Shai had many enjoyments. She loved being a mother most of all and spending time with her children.
Honoring Shai request, cremation is planned. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
