Brian D. Frakes, 62, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. He was born September 27, 1958 in Topeka, the son of Ralph E. and Beverly K. (Moss) Frakes.
Brian graduated from Topeka Public Schools. He was employed by Frakes Trucking for many years.
Brian married Mary J. Hutton on April 10, 2021 in Topeka after dating for 17 years. She survives. Other survivors include children, Melissa Frakes of Topeka, Sarah (Jose) Sanchez of Topeka, ten grandchildren, Gabriela, Jovana, Martin, Isaac, Alyssa, Melissa, Haylee, Eva, Emma, Kayden, and his siblings, Mike Frakes of Topeka and Kevin Frakes of Topeka.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom Frakes.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
