Sally Marie Williams, 78, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021.

She was born September 11, 1942, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd F. and Florence E. (Feik) Ragsdale. She was a graduate of Topeka High School and Oklahoma City Community College.

Sally was as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant employed by Guardian Angels and Indian Trails in Topeka. She previously worked for Allied Van Lines in Oklahoma City for many years.

She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Survivors include seven children, Debra MacDonald of Florida, Tammy Gonzalez of Auburn, Michael Toomey of Topeka, Lena Morris, Floyd “Allen” Hubbard, III, of Oklahoma, Donnie Williams of Oklahoma and James Williams of Topeka; 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Barbara Lewis, Floyd Ragsdale, Frank Ragsdale, Linda Scheidigger, Norma Leubee and Mary Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert Daniel Toomey, Jr.; her brother, Howard Wesley Ritchey, Jr.

Sally enjoyed Bingo, Cards and Games, 2 Step Dancing and camping in her younger years. She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Her family wishes to Thank all of her friends at the Cotton O’Neil Cancer Center.

Honoring her request, cremation is planned. A memorial service / celebration of life ceremony will be from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Shelter House #1 at Lake Shawnee in Topeka. Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family. Private inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Emporia, KS.
