Arloine Olson Lindgren was born October 9, 1922 to Irwin M. and Hannah Marie (Underberg) Olson at Bode, Iowa. She graduated from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. After graduation she was employed at Iowa State University where she met and married David R. Lindgren.

They lived in Akron, Ohio where their two daughters were born. In 1953 they moved to Topeka where she has remained since. She worked many years as an Administrative Assistant. She was a 50 year member of First Lutheran Church. Arloine was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed golf, knitting, Charles Wysocki jigsaw puzzles, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David and her sister LaFay Crocker. Surviving are her daughters Diane Lunceford of Conroe, Texas and Carolyn Hupe of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held. Memorials may be given to First Lutheran Church, 1234 SW Fairlawn Road, Topeka, KS 66604.
