Colleen Judith (Cumpton) Stellwagen, 73, Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Colleen was born May 18, 1948 in Topeka, the daughter of Franklin and Barbara (Bickford) Cumpton. She attended Highland Park High School and Stormont Vail School of Nursing.

She was employed as a claims processor and clerk at Blue Cross & Blue Shield for 30 years and later worked at Walmart for 13 years.

She was an avid gardener, enjoyed arts & crafts, garage sale specialist and loved to travel with her friend, Cheryl.

Survivors include son, Jason Scott Lutz; daughter, Amy Lynn Payne; grandchildren, Jason Scott Lutz, Jr, McKenzie Layne Grabauskas, Austin Michael Vanover, Caden Jay Lutz; great-grandchildren, Lucas Anthony Ray, Flynn Ray; and siblings, Marcia Marty Durston (Greg), David Dwain Hughes (Angie), Robin Daniel Hughes, Raymond Earl Hughes (Sandy); and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Berryton Baptist Church, 6741 SE Berryton Road, Topeka, KS.
