Janey Marlene Wallace, 43, of Berryton, KS passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

She was born on August 17, 1978 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Timothy Forrestt and Deborah Reece. She attended Shawnee Heights High School and graduated in 1996.

Janey was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be spontaneous. She had the most beautiful heart, always cheerful and thoughtful. Her infectious smile warmed your heart and made you feel welcomed. She could light up any room.

Janey loved family gatherings, holidays and exploring fine cuisine. She enjoyed sitting by the fire with her friends and family laughing and reminiscing. Most of all she loved and adored her three boys; Gabrielle Forrestt, Nathan Shannon and Hunter Shannon. If you were lucky enough to see Janey with her kids you would experience true love. She was nurturing, caring and protective of the people in her circle.

Survivors include her brother, Frank Forrestt; sisters, Katelyn Forrestt and Rachael Ramsey; her grandmother, Joyce Dultmeir; her sons, Gabrielle Forrestt, Nathan Shannon and Hunter Shannon; her mother, Deborah Reece; her father, Tim Forrestt and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Janey’s Life will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Cross Roads Community Church, 512 Mason St., Scranton, KS 66537.
