Ronald L. "Ron" Tyner, 59, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. He was born October 3, 1962 in Topeka, the son of Alvin and Carol (Berends) Tyner.

Ron graduated from Topeka High School in 1980. He was employed by Walmart.

Ron married Dana L. Lacey-Smith on August 8, 1987 in Kansas City, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Lamanda "Mandy" Lewis of Topeka and his sister, Pam Tyner of Topeka.

A Celebration of Ron's Life will be announced at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
