In Memory Of
Rebecca Ann "Becky" White
1950 - 2022
Rebecca was born September 2, 1950, in Topeka, Kansas. Becky is the daughter of Robert Hipsher and Norma Hipsher. Becky graduated from Seaman High School in 1968. She was employed by St. Francis Hospital for 34 years, retiring in 2018.
Becky enjoyed spending time with her family whenever she could. Some of the hobbies that Becky was passionate about were cooking in any way possible whether it was for fun or for others, anything that had to do with yardwork, going fishing, watching a sport of any kind, and spending time with her dog Patches. One thing Becky will always be remembered and so loved for was welcoming anyone in with open arms at all times.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Norma Hipsher.
Survivors include her brother Nick Hipsher (Nan) of Topeka; daughters Shelly A. Delaney (Brian) of Seneca, KS and Amy L. Hefner of Topeka; grandchildren Joel Worrell of Topeka, Brianna Delaney of Kansas City, MO, Jaycee Winder (Brody) of Carbondale, KS, David Delaney (Reagan) of Seneca, KS, and Josie Hefner of Hoyt, KS and several adopted grandchildren.
Becky was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 13th, 2022 at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. There will be a reception after the service at the Southwest Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for Josie Hefner's education.
Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
