Gayle Ann Gillespie, 70, of Rossville, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at a Rossville Health and Rehab. She was born August 20, 1951 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Rex Hollister and Evelyn Loraine (Mahoney) Gillespie.

She devoted a time in her life to care for her parents until their passing.

Along with caregivers the other residents of Rossville Health and Rehab were also “her people”. She was an advocate for them and made sure staff knew of potential harm for them. Gayle was the current President of the Resident Council.

Survivors include her sister, Lori McNeal (Jeremy Potter) of Nebraska, three nieces, one nephew and many great-nieces and nephews and two great nephews.

Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Janet Halladay, her brother-in-law, Emmett “EJ” Halladay and brother-in-law Reuben “Mac” McNeal.
