In Memory Of
Kimberly Ann Coleman
1960 - 2022

Kimberly Ann Coleman was born on January 27, 1960 in Fresno, California to Jim and Beverly (Burchfield) Guy.

She graduated from Apple Valley High School in 1978. After growing up in California, Kim followed her parents to Topeka, Kansas in the mid-1980s. With one child, Kim met Richard Coleman in 1985 where they married and welcomed another child.

Kim always enjoyed telling stories of her life in California and took pride in being a Californian native. She settled in Kansas to raise and take care of her family. She took pride in her home and always welcomed anyone who stopped by for a visit.

Kim knew how to have a good time and always sought out fun. She brought energy and light to every room she entered.

Kim loved being outside and could often be found gardening in the yard or spending summers on the lake with family. Family was most important to Kim and she will be deeply missed.

Kim is survived by her parents, Jim and Beverly Guy of Arizona; her husband, Richard Coleman of Topeka; two sons, Christian (Norah) Gilbert and Richie (Alison) Coleman and her two grandchildren, Carter and Ezra Coleman.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Jeannie Eye who she joins in everlasting peace.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Dove Cremations and Funerals – Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66610. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time. A Private Interment will take place at Vinland Cemetery in Baldwin, Kansas.
