Charlotte K. Burgen, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born July 19, 1939 in Herington, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Erma (Brant) Jacobs.
Charlotte was a homemaker.
Charlotte married Leon "Ol Man" Burgen on June 15, 1958 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Bob Jacobs and Paul Jacobs.
Survivors include three sons, Nelson Leon Burgen, II, Tracy L. Burgen and Troy L. Burgen all of Topeka, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her two sisters, Pat Callaway and Carol Grimm.
A Celebration of Charlotte's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
