Dorthy "Dottiedee" Glass, 80, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. She was born February 21, 1942 in Clay Center, Nebraska, the daughter of Arthur G. and Evelyn C. (Ruhga) Brennfoerder.
Dorthy graduated from Nelson High School in Nelson, Nebraska. She was self-employed.
Survivors include two sons, Duane (Gina) Glass of Topeka, Gene Glass of Topeka, three grandchildren, Caleb Glass, Ryan Glass and Luke Jaramillo, her brother, Leroy (Roxanne) Brennfoerder of Texas and her son-in-law, Danny Jaramillo.
Dorthy was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Jaramillo and her brother, Gary Brennfoerder.
As per Dorthy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Dorthy's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor’s choice.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
