Betty J. Ramsey, 63, of Berryton, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born June 24, 1959 in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph J. and Lota (Gerhardt) Pinter.

Betty graduated from Highland Park and earned a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science from Washburn University. She was employed by Stormont-Vail Hospital for 40 years before retiring. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. She enjoyed many water sports including water skiing and scuba diving. She volunteered with United Way and Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Betty married Daniel G. Ramsey on May 31, 1980 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include children, Erin (Josh) Sullivan of Kerrville, Texas, Blake (Sarah) Ramsey of Topeka, five grandchildren, Amos, Emma, John, Hunter and Callum.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Betty will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Sisters' Hope Foundation, PO Box 12, Myerstown, Pennsylvania 17067, in support of ALSP research.
