Betty was always so nice to me as a kid. I haven't seen her for several decades, but I still remember how I was always welcome at the Ramsey house.I know she will be missed. My condolences to her her family.

I was fortunate enough to have several "other mothers" among my friends growing up, and Betty was certainly one of them. We've always referred to her as Aunt Betty. I've known Blake for most of my life, and I'm grateful for the memories Betty allowed us to make at their home. She will be missed.

Dan,
My heart aches for you and your family. I was very sorry to read of Betty's passing. It is my prayer the wonderful memories you, your children and grandchildren have can help sustain you through the coming days.

“You’ve got a friend”
It was in the spring of 1977 that I entered the HPHS auditorium to practice for the AFS fundraising event that would take place that evening.
Betty was on stage behind the piano. As she saw me, she started to play Carole King’s You’ve got a friend. She looked at me as if she wanted to give the music and the lyrics an extra dimension. As if she was saying: “I am singing this for you.”
The auditorion was empty. Her music and her voice filled the whole space. The vibrations went straight into my hart.
The memory continues, as from that moment on my thoughts go back to that afternoon, every single time that I hear this song on the radio. No matter who plays it, it never matched the quality and intensity as Betty was able to sing it.
Also, every single time honest and sincere friendship comes up, I share this experience. I have used it several times in speeches and meetings and will continue to do so.
For me it was the ultimate emotion of pureness.
Betty and I have signed each others yearbook and left each others life. Me being the foreign exchange student, went back to Amsterdam. We have never had any contact since, but she was and will be always with me.
I hope this memory helps her husband, children, grandchildren and those who love her to cope with this terrible loss.
She will always have a friend…….

Betty was such a blessing to my grandmother. She gave us such a great gift when she recorded her sessions with Eva. I will forever be grateful.
~ Stacy Rebek - August 30, 2022
Betty was there for me when I had both my girls. She helped with so many things before, during and after that I could not have done it without her. Even when we moved away, she kept up with us in so many different ways.
We both loved rowing and rowed in many different boats and races together but my favorite part of it all was watching the sunrise together on Lake Shawnee in our singles in the farthest corner of the lake, only the sound of the water and nature. Betty, Rest In Peace and love. Christina

Sarah & I are sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She was a valued friend and servant to all the patients of Stormont Vail for 40 years. She will be missed by many.
~ Maynard Oliverius - August 29, 2022
In our times together, Betty exhibited what her mother--my Aunt Lota--modelled: always smililng, ready for whatever, always a "can do" attitude.
Like her mom, she had a strong faith and a warm love for the Lord. She was fun, talented and a sweet lady that lived too far from me to see her often. But I remember fondly our few and sporadic times together--wish there had been more--and am looking forward to seeing her again. What a wonderful reunion that will be--eternity with our Creator God and all who loved and trusted in the Lord Jesus as Betty did. The future is bright, but for a little while, she will be sorely missed.

Dan, Erin, Blake and Family,
Jim and I have been blessed to be a part of Betty’s and your lives. When we think of Betty, we will remember her strong faith, her talent of music, and how much she loved her family. She shared her faith and love of life with everyone she met. Know that we love you all and are very sorry for your loss. Betty will always be in our hearts.

My deepest sympathy for the loss.
My apologies for questions that have been burning on my brain.
My brother, Jeff Cade, is suffering from this demonic ALSP. The doctors had no idea what this was until my sister, Kimberly Cade had located a doctor who had somewhat success with 2 or 3 patients. We are still trying to locate any other suggestions. If you have any that you would like to share, please let me know.

I appreciate your time, my love is with your family. May God watch over the family. Thank you.

My condolences to Dan, Erin and Blake. Your wife and mother was always special to me. From the days when you built your Berryton home to visiting with her at Stormont throughout our mutual years there, Betty always had a smile and our conversations were always fun.
RIP Betty

My heart goes out to Betty‘s family. Life does not always seem fair, especially when we lose someone special, like Betty. She was always kind and accepting of those around her- a true salt of the earth spirit. It was always a joy to see her at high school reunions. Her smile remained the same over the years and the positive spirit which she embodied was contagious. Rest well friend.

My deepest condolences to Betty’s family. We worked together at Stormont-Vail years ago. She was a joy to know and I can’t imagine the void you all now feel. May her memories be a blessing in the days ahead.

Dear Dan
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Betty. Betty was like a sister to us. When we first came to Faith Lutheran she was the one who first greeted us and we were friends every since. We loved her deeply. Such a beautiful lady. It doesn't seem real but God needed her. May God give you and your family peace and condolences. In Sympathy and love. Kathy and Gary Orth

Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to you all.

I was so shocked and saddened to learn if her passing. We remember you all fondly and will always keep you near to our hearts, wrap you all in love, comfort and prayers, now and always. God bless you all-

When I think of the word "hospitality," Betty Ramsey comes to mind. We were blessed, on many occasions, to be welcomed into the Ramsey home. Aunt Betty never made me feel like an in-law or an outsider; I just felt loved. Some of my favorite memories are learning how to make her famous enchiladas, listening as she played piano, and watching her play/read with our kids.
~ Cara Fay - August 27, 2022
My first memory of Betty was when my family would pick her up from her family home on the way to church at St. Paul’s Lutheran church where she would play the organ for our congregation. Her bright smile and calm spirit will be both remembered and missed. My sincere condolences to Betty’s family. Prayers for you all as you grieve.

Betty was one of the kindest and most generous people I've ever known. She saw the best in everyone and would go out of her way to help others around her. Her generosity and selfless spirit lives on in her daughter. I am grateful to God that I had the opportunity to call her my mother-in-law. I miss her but look forward to seeing her on the Last Day at the resurrection of the dead when our Lord Jesus returns.
~ Josh Sullivan - August 26, 2022
So very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. Every year on our joint birthday we would wish our “BDay Buddy” best wishes. Betty always gave so much to whoever/whatever the person/cause. Her heart was always 10 times the size of someone else.
To her entire family - please know we will all be praying for you. Rest knowing that she is not suffering and she is with Jesus! She was such a servant of God.
~ Sandy Chitwood - August 26, 2022
Betty was such a good and kind person. I loved getting to "assist" her with the piano in Scott Singers. Everyone called us Paws and Jaws. We didn't know which one of us was which but we sure knew how to talk and giggle while we played the piano. Mr. Ricketts wasn't usually amused. Until we meet again my friend.
I want the family to know that Craig and I have been praying for Betty and your family and those prayers will continue for comfort.

I've been carrying a Heavy Heart today after learning the Betty had made her way to be with Our Creator. I've known Betty for many year's for we went to school together from way back (HP All The Way) & she always was a very special kind of a person. I always remember the last time I'd seen her after she'd became ill, she entered with a smile. Betty you'll be Missed Dearly by many, but May You Rest In Peace with No More Pain. Love You Girl! My Thought's and Prayer's go out to Betty's Family & Dear Friends

I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She had such a sweet personality. I have many memories of her and the entire Pinter family from water skiing days. Dan so sorry for the loss of your soul mate - I always admired the love you shared. My deepest condolences to the entire family. ??

I worked with Betty from 1988 to 2002 at Stormont Vail. This was when we were in the dark as she always said because we never had any windows.
Betty would always tell me how the kids were doing in school along with her taking up rowing again.
Beautiful lady, you will be missed. Spread your wings and fly to your mom.
