Margaret “Peggy” Woehr, 74, of Overbrook, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at a Topeka hospital.

She was born February 7, 1948 in Frankfort, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas and Helen (Lord) Simpson
.
She graduated from Saint Mary’s High School in 1966.

She was the best mom and grandma. She cherished her time with her family, especially shopping with her grandchildren.

Peggy had a love for cattle and enjoyed being outdoors in her garden. If she wasn’t outside, you could find her in the house cooking.

She enjoyed making medical supplies retiring with the company after 23 years.

Peggy married Gerald “Jerry” Woehr in 1967. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2019.

Survivors include children, Gerri Wright, Shannon Woehr, Darrell Woehr and Benjamin Woehr, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and sister, Eileen Langley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald and siblings, Daniel Simpson, Johnathan Simpson, Joel Simpson, and Louise Simpson and by two great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned at this time.
