She was born September 2, 1936, in Rising City, Nebraska, the daughter of Henry B. Jones and Gertrude (Seldon) Jones. She graduated from Rising City High School.
Nadine was employed by Hypermart in Topeka as a baker, retiring in 1992.
Ms. Kliment was a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church of Topeka.
Nadine married Joe E. Kliment on August 6, 1956 in David City, NE. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2010. Survivors include her children, Tom Kliment (Kahla) of Carbondale and Susie Kaberline (Tom) of Maple Hill, KS; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son Jeffrey.
Nadine enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 3rd at the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 2700 SE Virginia Avenue in Topeka, KS. Interment will follow mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 801 SW Westchester Road in Topeka. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 2nd at the Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice, 5835 SW 29th Street Suite 200, Topeka, KS 66614.
The family wants to give a special thanks to Jonna Crawford, McKenna Morgan, Traci Westerhouse, Rhonda Frakes, Rebecca Bumgarner and Father Thomas Maddock for their kindness and care in Nadine’s last days.
