I got to know Nadine when I came to work at Brewster Place. Fun lady, patient and kind. She was always in a good mood, with a great sense of humor, even on days she wasn't feeling well. She sure enjoyed life and people. She made a point of getting to know you and always asked how you were doing. Nadine had a lot of interests and just enjoyed talking to people. Ernie was my trainer when I was hired as a driver at Brewster. Class guy. I was glad they became good friends. We will miss her much at Brewster.

Dear Manley Family and Ernie,
Wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss. Nadine an d Don were good friends who were very kind to me when I moved to Topeka. I enjoyed Nadine's lovely voice and our time together in choir was special. Your Dad's music was a meaningful part of my worship. His playing for our wedding meant so much to us. Nadine was such a good cook and so gracious about opening your home to Melissa, Mark and me. We knew we could come swim just about any time and that was a treat for us. Nadine loved all of you so much and talked about how proud she was of you. Will miss her smiling face.

Nadine and Mom (Marge Robards) and other friends ate their meals together in the Redwood Building at Brewster. Unfortunately, Mom has been at the Healthcenter for about one year. My sister (Beverly) lives down the hall from Nadine's apartment in Redwood, and she will miss seeing her. Nadine was always quick to greet me with her beautiful smile whenever I came out to visit and have a cup of coffee with the group of friends in the mornings or glass of tea at lunch. She will truly be missed at Redwood and in the Brewster Community, and we all enjoyed her artwork!

I haven't got to see Nadine lately as I am in the Health Center. But when I was in Redwood, she was such a nice lady, always ready to visit with you. I am sure she will be missed by many residents here and most certainly by her family. I am sure she is singing Praises to God and exploring her Heavenly Home????

I remember meeting this sweet lady and how welcoming she was to me when I came home with Linda from Ottawa!
Grace and Peace to family and friends ?????

I was so blessed to know Nadine through my job in the Brewster Place art program— she was a frequent (and very talented!) art class participant. Loved walking down the hallway to her apartment and enjoying the beautiful gallery of her bird and flower paintings. She made me feel so welcome when I came to Brewster— great sense of humor, just a dear and gracious lady. Prayers for God’s peace for her family.
