Woodrow Wilson Reser II, 72, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023.

He was born March 8, 1951, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Woodrow Wilson and Cayrl (Denham) Reser. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1969.

Woody was employed as a lithographer by Spangler, Aid Printing and many others in the printing trade for over 30 years, retiring in 2015.

Survivors include his daughter, Mandi Holt (Charles) of McAlester, OK; grandchildren John Tyler Perry (Meg) of Oklahoma City, OK, Kristen Cook (Noah) of McAlester, OK and Paige Lebs (Aaron) of Hartshorne, OK; great-grandchildren Maia and Eden Cook of McAlester, OK; siblings Jackie D. Kraak, Wendy R. Parman, Carolyn Stull and Sheryl Morris; and close friend Tammy Sandifer. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Caleb Edward Holt; and his brother Lee A. Reser.

Woody loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed baseball and football (the Chiefs) and spending time with family. He really loved his job as a pressman.

There will be a funeral service on Thursday, September 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Street in Topeka. Interment will be at a future date at the Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
