Harold K. "H.K." Anthony, 83, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014. He was born July 9, 1931, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, the son of Alford J. and Viola (Mitchell) Anthony.
Harold, employed by the Santa Fe Railroad for 36 years, retired in 1987 from the Valuation Department. He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows, Lions Club and Elks Club. He enjoyed his family, playing bridge, reading, working on small engines and beautiful horses.
He was married September 17, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Roberta M. James. She survives of the home.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, A. Michael Anthony.
Other survivors include daughters Kay Kimball, Topeka, Vicki Malloy (Richard), Renton, WA, Jean Little, Topeka, Krista Boldra (Gary), Topeka; son, David Anthony (Rose), Barnum, MN; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, L. Glenn Anthony and Jack Anthony of Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held by the family on Saturday, September 13th from 1-3:00 p.m., at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601-1653.
