Adam E. Emperley, 50, of Berryton, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born May 20, 1975 in Topeka, the son of Roger and Deffene (Romine) Emperley.
Adam graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1993. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. He was always available to anyone who reached out to him for help and volunteered his time to help his local community in Overbrook.
Adam married Christine "Christy" Richards on September 19, 2003 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Nadia Emperley and Brody Emperley, his parents, Roger and Deffene Emperley, his siblings, Scott Emperley, Shannon (Brad) Schaefer, and all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom he loved dearly. Also surviving are extended family and friends.
Adam loved Big and lived BIG! He loved to spend his time with family and friends either fishing, hunting, playing cards, or tootling around in his buggy with a Mt. Dew in hand. He was so proud of the many accomplishments his daughter and son have achieved. Adam loved his football games and building/working on their four wheelers. Recently they just won 3rd at the 250R Takeover Show & Shine, and he beamed with so much pride and a few tears. They spent a lot of time in the shop and that’s where you would always find Adam with huge welcome and smile. Recently he and Christy celebrated their 22nd anniversary, and boy oh boy did he love her!
